My background is in United States History. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in May 2013. In my Senior year, I took my first Constitutional Law class and ever since I have wanted to educate myself about the United States Constitution.
The Constitution of the United States of America, to this day, is a revolutionary document. No country, man, or woman had ever completely and irrevocably changed the power structure until the Constitutional Convention in the hot summer of 1787.
I am going to read and learn about every state's constitution. I intend to also read one historical state constitution case, and then one current constitutional case, with each state.
Since I am finishing my Paralegal Studies Certificate at Georgetown University right now, I intend to post at least once a week. Posting all depends on my schedule, and when I get around to reading the state's Constitution and cases.
I am leaving the comment section open to the public, so please feel free to add your own opinions as long as you remain respectful. Also, please correct me if I get any facts wrong. I'm still a newbie to the legal field. I intend to properly cite every document for my own edification and practice.
Thanks for checking out this blog! I'll be around soon! As a side note, if you enjoy reading inspirational writing, and looking at photography, I have another blog at www.pictorialhearths.blogspot.com.
